Events Marketing Manager
AdRoll is looking for a motivated and results-oriented marketer with experience driving business growth through creating high-value online and offline event experiences for current and future customers. As AdRoll’s Events Marketing Manager, will be responsible for creating the plan for owned, earned and paid events (in person and virtual), and ideating and executing on it. These events will build awareness of, and engagement with, AdRoll in creating a pool of future customers and providing additional value to existing customers.
AdRoll is an ecommerce marketing platform that gives growing DTC brands the power to connect with people everywhere they go online. Today’s shopping journey includes up to 56 touch points—across ads, email, and your online store. AdRoll makes them work together to keep customers coming back and buying more. The AdRoll platform is fueled by our pioneering use of machine learning to analyze real-time performance advertising data. We work with thousands of brands and our events program is key to ensuring we’re able to work with many more.
In owning event planning and execution, you will work closely with various teams across brand, media, creative, social, sales, operations, analytics, legal, partnerships and PR, as well as external agencies. A successful candidate will have a proven event campaign management track record, is comfortable working autonomously to set AdRoll’s event roadmap, will deliver measurable results, possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly, and has great attention to detail and organization skills. This person should possess strong project management skills and excel at relationship building.
This role is open in our San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City offices, or Remote.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop the events strategy; planning and execution of owned, earned and paid events for AdRoll globally.
- Collaborate with and manage internal stakeholders across AdRoll.
- Track and analyze key marketing metrics and event performance.
- Collaborate with external agencies.
- Act as a leader and “catalyst” who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best in class ideas and plans, identifying dependencies and eliminating blockers.
- Partner with various marketing functions to develop an innovative, effective events campaign, from approach to execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience managing events
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and optimize event campaigns
- Experience managing event budgets and working with teams to track and forecast
- Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align and inspire peers and teams
- Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple activities and excel in a lean and busy work environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
- Operates with significant autonomy
- Demonstrated bias for action; someone who leads from the front, is commercially minded and constantly looking for opportunities to refine and scale event programming.
