Our audience enjoys a delightful shopping experience, partnering with more than 50,000 merchants we are aligned with to allow access to the brands we all love. Our growth is a function of 2 things: 1) Attracting a high-quality customer base, 2) Engaging those customers to shop with our merchant partners through our platform.
In order to make a transformative change in this area, we are searching for a Global Head of User Acquisition. This role will report into the Global VP of growth.
The Role
You will shape, build, and operate a global user acquisition and growth org. You’ll be able to reel off the best tech in the business and the most advanced data sources, to deliver your goals and establish a toolset and strategy that will enable us to thrive at 10x our current size.
You will own the shaping of the next chapter of Afterpay’s new users’ activation strategy. You will have access not only to data and tools but also a global team of talented marketers. You will be expected to help them grow to their full potential in their own careers and capabilities while continuing to build out the team.
You will be comfortable and experienced in creating and operating around myriad new users acquisition programs while overseeing a large budget of paid media. Your main goal will be to build an engine that will keep driving high-quality users for the afterpay services around the world. This engine will be focused on targeting the most likely to use prospects, know exactly how to get them in, and optimize for high lifetime value. You will know how to successfully navigate the internal matrix of Marketing, Product, Sales and Technology teams to get what you need done.
Key Responsibilities
Own global business metrics hit and exceed user acquisition targets
Build tools, teams and strategy to maximize the impact of AfterPay’s marketing $$
Shape AfterPay’s global strategy for user growth across all paid and owned channels
Build and lead a global team of world-class acquisition experts
Design the tech-stack needed to measurably impact new users growth across all categories and segments
Deeply understand our users and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage of their early lifecycle
Engage cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, analytics and creative to build the next generation of growth tools
Minimum Qualifications
