Why We Need You
We’re seeking a Global Manager of PR to help drive forward, amplify and bring new ideas to our external communications efforts worldwide. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing impactful global communication strategies for companies in the B2B space, ideally in enterprise tech. Working as part of our highly supportive Comms and Corporate Marketing team, the successful candidate will have the chance to take the lead on strategic PR initiatives, oversee global agency management, partner with product marketing and community teams to develop company messaging and communication strategies, build relationships with tier one reporters, work with company executives, partner with our social and blog teams and be part of delivering an impactful integrated comms and marketing strategy. How You Impact Our Vision
- Play a lead in executing our global communications strategy, working closely with the Director of Communications to deliver on both our short and long-term communication goals and KPIs
- Oversee press material development to a high standard
- Support incoming PR inquiries and requests in concert with the global agencies
- Oversee the day-to-day activity of the PR agencies, ensuring that KPIs are met for the quarter and a steady flow of activity, idea generation and execution takes place, to a high standard
- Own end-to-end strategic PR projects that not only drive great publicity but also help feed the company’s demand generation and content machine
- Help build the comms team generate content to continuously deliver high value thought leadership to drive press coverage, awareness and website traffic
- Work closely with the social media, blog, content marketing teams to ensure content execution is closely aligned and meeting marketing goals.
About You
- 5-8 years’ experience in PR and Communications strategy and execution - in house or agency experience.
- Experience launching products and driving campaigns, communication and go-to-market initiatives for tech B2B companies
- Sound understanding of media relations, showing an ability to develop narratives and pitch ideas that stand out and map to company narratives
- Someone with an eye for detail and an ability to write for business audiences
- An ability to take story ideas from concept to launch – creating themes that can play through PR, social media, executive keynotes, general marketing, and internal messaging
- A great connector and communicator - an ability to think about how your work supports and connects to the work of other teams and vice versa.
- Everyone has a role to play in helping us build a truly integrated Marketing team!
- Sound knowledge of the media landscape, understanding the nuances between different regions and reporter beats, and driving the most from our PR agenciesFantastic organizational skills and an ability to balance the big picture with getting the smaller, equally important things right.
