The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager, Member Enrollment to lead the strategy and execution of accelerating awareness and adoption of Carrot benefits among eligible employees via employer customers in partnership with Carrot’s Customer Success team. A successful candidate will have solid experience in B2B2C and/or B2C growth marketing, rigorous measurement of performance data attributed to growth marketing activities, a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurship mindset with the ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally and independently with little direction.
This newly created role will be responsible for the planning, design and execution of an annual strategic plan with supporting marketing assets provided to employer customers so they are equipped to easily promote Carrot benefits and drive employee registrations with minimal support from Carrot marketing and/or Customer Success, while then designing and testing custom marketing engagement plans, activities and assets for some of our largest enterprise customer employers as needed with Customer Success (starting as pilots but then scaled if successful).

Responsibilities:
- Review and optimize current marketing assets, including an existing open enrollment / launch kit, provided to employer customers to use for announcing and promoting Carrot benefits internally to their employees
- Plan and project manage the design and content to then roll out an optimized, best-in-class enrollment / launch kit that will maximize awareness and adoption of Carrot among all eligible employees at employer customers,
- Design, test and learn what meaningful engagement marketing assets and activities customer employers are using that are driving employee registrations, with the ultimate goal of building a highly converting playbook that employer customers and our internal Customer Success teams can implement with ultimate ease and success
- Build systems and processes for efficiently equipping Customer Success with tools and templates they need to serve customer employers and enable them for success
- Build and maintain key growth KPIs specific to employer customers; proactively track and evaluate results against goals and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and execute on a testing framework to consistently drive new learnings across the team and improve conversion rates of employee engagement initiatives with employer customers
- Partner with other growth marketing team members and Customer Success to ideate and design new experiments to enable employer customers to drive increased employee registrations, including collaboration on designing and testing virtual events/webinars, digital marketing campaigns, direct mail experiments, etc.
- Be the point person for Customer Success team when enterprise employer customers request custom updates to engagement marketing assets they want to use to promote Carrot to employees, making updates or copy revisions as necessary and on an ongoing basis
- Grow and inspire a small team (of one to start) focused on driving results among employer customers that maximize employee engagement and revenue generation through coaching, optimism and feedback
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2C or B2B2C space but not required
- 2-3 years experience leading growth marketing initiatives (ideally some experience working with enterprise companies)
- 2 years or more of people management experience, managing and growing a small team
- Proven ability to drive rigorous prioritization and decision making to achieve greatest impact and hit KPIs
- Entrepreneurial ownership mindset, with proven ability to influence and build advocacy for ideas among team members and senior leaders
- Strong follow through and accountability to others; eager and ready to roll up your sleeves but also can step back and see the big picture
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for understanding consumer behavior and what moves people to take action; dedicated to always ensuring a high quality experience for our employee customers, their employees and eventually employees-turned Carrot members
- Intellectually curious marketer and life-long learner; you are unafraid to ask questions and have an insatiable sense of curiosity to ask why and/or figure it out; can-do attitude with a sense of humor
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and share insights and learnings
- Stellar project management and prioritization skills; you’re able to manage multiple projects at varying stages and on varying timelines, enjoy putting process in place to work cross-collaboratively and realize efficiencies
- Experience designing multi-channel communications, digital and email campaigns that have resulted in high conversions
- Track record of effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Design, BI and Content across time zones
- Experienced in emerging platforms and marketing technology, some knowledge of Asana, DocSend and Looker a plus
