About Carrot:

Carrot Fertility is the leading global fertility benefits provider for employers built to make fertility care and family-forming affordable and accessible for everyone who wants or needs it. Companies use Carrot to customize a fertility benefit that provides employees financial, medical, and emotional support as they pursue parenthood, reducing healthcare costs and resulting in better clinical outcomes.

The Role:

Carrot is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of accelerating member engagement through virtual events and webinar channels, with a focus on rigorous measurement of performance, testing and optimization. This newly created role will be responsible for the planning, development and detailed execution of creative and engaging annual programming that is sure to attract, excite and engage eligible employees and Carrot members across their lifecycle family-forming journey.

You must excel in both the creative and analytical sides of marketing - identifying new, innovative opportunities and also optimize existing webinar and virtual member event strategies. This role must also have out-of-this-world attention to detail and project management skills to manage the logistics of delivering seamless and delightful events and webinars that move members to action, leave members wanting more and uniquely differentiate Carrot as a benefits company.

Note that we aren’t merely looking for an accomplished and passionate growth marketer, but are also looking for one with a heart for helping as many aspiring parents as possible to overcome the complications and challenges that often accompany the family-forming journey. If that’s you, join our passionate, bright and caring growth marketing team to help us ensure all employees who have Carrot as a benefit know what we are about, ultimately playing a significant role both in the lives of prospective parents as well as those that hope to add to their families. This role will report to Carrot’s Director of Growth Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thoughtful, creative annual programming calendar that moves Carrot members to action and begin planning, building, testing, executing and learning, with the ultimate goal of building a highly engaging and converting virtual webinar and event playbook over time
  • Own the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all member-facing virtual experiences, not limited to only virtual events and webinars if other experiential ideas merit testing
  • Prepare project and testing plans for each event/webinar, including objectives and desired outcomes, logistical details, timelines and communication/promotion plans
  • Coach participating Carrot employees and/or outside guest speakers to ensure every function is prepared to show up with their A game, understanding roles and responsibilities and living by consistent brand guidelines
  • Develop and execute on a testing framework to consistently drive new learnings across the team and improve conversion rates of event/webinar experiences
  • Design and test strategies (e.g. digital, offline) for successfully promoting these virtual experiences to members, collaborating with content and digital marketing teams
  • Source, recruit and onboard guest speakers, includes high-profile speakers
  • Design and test pre- and post-event email nurture campaigns that move employees through the entire funnel and drive improved conversion rates
  • Build and maintain key growth KPIs; proactively track and evaluate results against goals and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Design, PR, Customer Success and Product to test new ideas

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience
  • 2 years of (ideally B2C) experience leading virtual events/webinars that drive member engagement, ideally within high-growth companies (some digital marketing experience promoting these virtual events/webinars a plus)
  • Ability to think outside the box, passionate about bringing new and creative ideas forward
  • Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Curious marketer; you are unafraid to ask questions and have an insatiable sense of curiosity to ask why and/or figure it out
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and share insights and learnings
  • Stellar project management and prioritization skills with mastery of the details
  • Comfort with a virtual event/webinar platform such as Zoom (experience with a best-in-class platform a plus)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve across teams and tools
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Some knowledge with Asana, Google Analytics or Looker a plus
