Growth Specialist (Multiple Locations)
**Considering candidates in San Mateo, Santa Barbara, or US-based remote**
As a member of the Achievement Growth team, the Growth Specialist will be focused on growing Achievement’s consumer member base across both app and web. This role utilizes a strong analytical background with a passion for executing scalable media strategies. As a data-driven growth marketer with expertise in performance marketing and funnel optimization, you will own channel strategy and execution along with a marketing budget for our paid channels and organic acquisition strategies. You will manage Achievement’s current paid growth partners and be responsible to constantly push to find new channels, expanding our current reach, and optimizing performance of each channel.You will work in close collaboration with various teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Achievement Programs to drive new user acquisition and improve engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead growth strategy and manage a growth marketing budget to drive new user acquisition for Achievement. You will develop the strategy, marketing channel mix and budget allocation, and campaign execution across mobile and desktop platforms
- Develop roadmaps for: membership expansion according to our team milestones (e.g. grow the diversity of our member base to increase representation of all people in our research), creative testing, and funnel optimization
- Reach underserved populations and become the expert in understanding user acquisition for these key populations
- Work closely with ad network partners to develop and execute on channel strategies
- Manage day-to-day operations of paid search channels in order to drive towards ambitious user growth goals
- Launch A/B test campaigns for campaign optimization and analyze data
- Launch tests and experiments for organic user growth
- Proactively identify channel optimization and growth opportunities, surfacing dependencies and blockers to cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyze and synthesize data and communicate findings to cross-functional team members on performance, results, and initiatives on a regular basis.
- Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams on optimization of assets and new features that will drive growth (e.g. new creative assets, new landing pages, new product features)
- Work with and influence partners across the organization to drive funnel optimization and engagement
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years professional work experience in a role focused on growth, performance marketing programs, or user acquisition
- Ability to problem solve and think strategically
- Understanding of traditional and emerging channels used for acquiring and retaining consumers, including some combination of SEM, SEO, programmatic Display, Paid Social, and offline channels
- Experience managing paid search programs end-to-end – from campaign execution, to landing page optimization, to reporting and performance analysis
- Experience managing ad network partners and ad agency partners
- Data experience and analytical skills: proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of funnel analytics, A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing
- Adept at leveraging data visualization tools
- Outstanding follow-through, self-starting attitude, time management, and project management skills to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
