The Opportunity
As Head of Marketing Analytics at Afterpay, you'll be driving our next stage of growth with analytical rigor. This is a highly visible role that is the core of enabling marketing innovation and consumer growth.
This role will report into the Chief Technology & Risk Officer, and also be part of the Marketing Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strategy and people skills to lead cross-functionally and drive forward recommendations. He/She will be responsible for establishing the vision, strategic priorities, and objectives for growth and marketing analytics across the entire organization.

● Work closely with the growth, marketing and product teams to explore and define Consumer Growth OKRs. Be a true partner in roadmap planning and prioritization.
● Build industry leading full funnel measurement frameworks to determine the return on marketing investments across paid, owned and partnership channels through deep understanding of consumer behavior.
● Own the analytics and data framework for performance marketing spend including paid media and incentives
● Own decision science including Predictive models, pre-churn, probabilistic models, LTV models
● Oversee the design and execution of experimentation and build up an attribution and incrementally framework to enable data-driven decision making.
● Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Growth Marketing, Product, Risk, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance.
● Recruit, mentor and scale a team of high performing analysts and develop their technical and strategic skillsets
Who are you?

● 10+ years of experience in analytics, at least 7+ in growth marketing or customer analytics for a fast growing company.
● Experienced people manager with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
● Strong understanding of consumer life cycle and full range of marketing channels
● Strong understanding of measuring impact of marketing activities including paid media, app measurements, MMM, owned channels attribution etc
● A passion for finding valuable insights in data and the ability to influence agenda with those insights.
● Masters degree in statistics, math, business, or related disciplines.
● Proficiency with SQL, reporting tools (Tableau) a plus
Preferred Qualifications
● 7+ years of experience directly managing analysts in a high-growth environment
● Demonstrated experience tackling personalization within recommendation systems and lifecycle marketing campaigns
