About the Team:

The Quora Revenue team is responsible for building strong relationships with advertising partners across the globe. Specifically, we aim to connect brands and agencies to our 300M monthly unique visitors in a way that delivers meaningful business outcomes. The team is laser-focused on providing exceptional customer service and building the foundation for long-term partnerships between brands and Quora. About the Role:

As our Head of Marketing, you will be in a critical leadership role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement Quora’s business marketing strategy during the early growth phase of our advertising business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of marketers to create brand awareness and generate demand for our advertising products
  • Develop strategic programs to drive qualified leads for our mid-market and enterprise sales teams, and for creating a high volume flow of self-serve advertisers on the platform
  • Partner with the product team to bring new revenue products and advertising solutions to market
  • Enable our sales and business development teams with narratives, collateral, and case studies
  • Work cross-functionally with product, policy, comms, and legal to ensure our marketing efforts are consistent with internal and external positioning

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time). Learn why here
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • 10+ years of B2B or B2B2C marketing experience in the technology / internet space
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in digital media to companies of varying scale and budgets - from mid-market to enterprise-level clients
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Advanced expertise in marketing automation, lead conversion, nurturing programs, and marketing analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to craft inspiring, memorable stories that bring solutions and products to life
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; proven team-first mentality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for Quora's mission and goals
  • Experience as a marketer in a technology/social platform or as a client director in a digital media agency
