Reporting to our VP Marketing, we’re looking for a Head of Strategic Alliances to help us expand our growth through channel sales partnerships.

As the Head of Strategic Alliances you will...

  • Direct relationships with channel partners including strategic alignment and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with partner sales teams to drive co-selling and deliver on joint revenue goals
  • Build and launch Gladly partner program to efficiently recruit and onboard and new channel partners
  • Source and pro-actively direct a pipeline of technology and agency channel partners to ensure consistent growth and a regular deal flow
  • Systematically track joint opportunities, direct regular cadence of joint pipeline reviews, and engage partner and Gladly team members across Marketing, Sales, and Product as necessary to drive deals through the pipeline.
  • Draft compelling joint value propositions and clear pitch materials that channel partners can use to position Gladly in customer/prospect accounts
  • Work closely with key partners to optimize their performance by agreeing targets and annual plans, maximizing performance of partner campaigns, and leading QBRs and retrospectives
  • Train partner sales teams to identify sales opportunities
  • Activate partner sales organizations to ensure that Gladly is “front-of-mind” for Customer Service software sales opportunities

About You

  • You have risen through the ranks of Alliance Management, maybe even spending a few years in Sales, and are now a leader with a proven track record of driving revenue through channel partners
  • You know what a great channel partner program looks like because you've built one and when the time comes, you'll be able to recruit a high performing team under you
  • The ability to build trust and close relationships with Alliance and Sales teams at partner organizations is in your DNA
  • You understand that Enterprise sales cycles are complex so know how to leverage your extended team across Marketing, Sales, and Product to get deals done. And while you have many projects in motion, you approach each with high attention to detail and rigorous follow-through
  • Bonus points for experience in the customer service industry and an understanding of the agency landscape
