Algolia is seeking a Head of Web Marketing to own our web presence and SEO strategy; and to lead a team that drives and executes the roadmap for our marketing website. You will own web metrics and will partner on business strategy, including leading on web delivery & analytics, conversion optimization, and content production that leads our customers web journey experience. A key focus of this role will be to own our content strategy for growing organic traffic. This role will also manage the team responsible for the look and feel of our website. You will work collaboratively across the company, partnering with the Demand Generation, Engineering, Business Operations & Sales teams. You will work directly with business owners to define content needs and deliverables, write content optimized for search. Strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach will be important to your success in this role.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Define a strategy for Algolia’s website including messaging, content, branding, traffic growth and conversions that will drive and improve user experience
  • Own our SEO optimization strategy, including identifying trends and gathering insights
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Marketing, Engineering and IT teams to develop, prioritize, and execute a roadmap of strategic website enhancements and improvements
  • Advise and guide the marketing team on best practices in design, content creation, technology, and digital trends across multiple platforms
  • Report on web performance and its impact on the full funnel, and work with our Marketing Analytics and Operations team to lead and gather business insights
  • Identify and execute on digital technology innovations and growth opportunities

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience in web strategy, with proven success in driving web properties
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing web teams
  • Previous experience in strategic planning and execution of platform projects
  • Excellent cross-functional experience, preferably working with engineering teams
  • Background in UX, SEO and conversion optimization principles and methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Results-oriented and data driven approach
