International Advertising Operations & Revenue Lead (Contract)
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is the world’s most popular anime brand, connects anime and manga fans across 200+ countries and territories with 360-degree experiences. We’re an international business focused on creating both online and offline experiences for fans through content (licensed, co-produced, originals, distribution), merchandise, events, gaming, news, and more. Visit our About Us pages for more information about our collection of brands and companies.
About the Team
The Crunchyroll Ads Team is responsible for monetizing the free-user experience on Crunchyroll. Users who watch Crunchyroll without subscribing will receive adverts in the content and it is our job to manage and optimize that experience; our two primary objectives are increasing the overall revenue while ensuring the best possible user experience. Given these goals, the Ads Team has the unique position of being able to contribute directly to overall company revenue goals.
The team is small but mighty! We achieve great results without requiring a huge team of people in order to deliver. To that end, the culture of the Ads Team is very results-oriented. We are each given the flexibility to think and act creatively to pursue our goals in our own ways. Crunchyroll has substantial international traffic but our lean team has lacked the bandwidth to give the opportunity the kind of attention that it requires; this role will address that opportunity.
Location: San Francisco
Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assemble to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.
