LATAM Marketing Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a member of Udemy’s marketing team, you’ll be at the forefront of Udemy’s users in Latin America, contributing to Udemy’s mission of improving lives through learning by reaching and inspiring potential new students to learn through our platform. You will be part of the day-to-day management of our media planning efforts, working on marketing campaigns, creatives, performance tracking and reporting, with a strong collaboration with our cross-functional team in San Francisco. You will have the opportunity to work directly with marketing leadership, as well as cross-functional partners, to help grow and expand our student base globally.

You are passionate about marketing and performance. You are a creative thinker, capable of putting yourself in the mindset of the customer, and developing messaging strategies to reach them. You are organized and comfortable managing deliverables for multiple projects at a time, align strategies with the global team and represent Latin America on global projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience with TV media planning, brand positioning, digital channels performance and creatives.

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Oversee day to day media planning process
- Lead local marketing agencies relationship
- Assess marketing opportunities and recommend marketing programs that align with marketing strategy and objectives
- Understand and evaluate existing marketing programs with data analytics across consumer marketing and recommend improvements
- Develop scalable channel marketing programs that support brand awareness, sales/revenue growth and ROI
- Work closely with different teams across marketing, product and engineering to generate product and channel insights and execute marketing tactics
- Present findings and insights clearly and concisely to the marketing team and senior management when necessary
- Lead complex global and local projects cross-functionally
We’re excited about you because you have:
- Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish
- 5-10 years B2C experience in integrated marketing roles, which include responsibilities for TV media planning & building consumer brands
- Desirable experience with TV, digital/brand marketing, creative development, channel optimization, or demand generation
- Experience in matrix global organizations that includes direct or indirect reporting to HQ
- An innately analytical mindset that can surface actionable data
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
- The ability to work and lead complex projects cross-functionally
- Ability to work in a fast paced, matrix, team environment
- Experience with Marketing in Latin American region
- Passion for technology and online education
- High energy and positive attitude
