About the Team
The Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for meeting key goals across growth, engagement, and retention touching all business lines -- AVOD/SVOD, Ecommerce, Events, and Games. We have grown the successful Crunchyroll service to over 2 million paying subscribers and over 50 million registered users internationally. We manage user communications by tapping into a key set of marketing channels -- email, push notifications, in-app messages, landing pages, and house ads.
Location: San Francisco
Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assemble to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.
Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status
Crunchyroll employees are currently working from home and we are still conducting remote interviews and hiring during this time. This role is expected to start remotely and we’ll work closely with you as we understand every person has unique circumstances.
**Please note that this position is a 6 month contract role.**
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing and/or Business
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing
- Exhibits a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, as well as keen attention to detail
- Has the ability to manage multiple interdepartmental initiatives and rolling deadlines
- Demonstrates an ability to communicate clearly and build effective internal and external relationships
- Embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, is driven and excited by challenging and complex problems and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions proactively
- Passion for entertainment, great content, and technology with a desire to work across many content verticals
- Experience working with global teams and SMEs in international territories
- Experience working with omni-channel marketing tools (Braze, Iterable, Leanplum)
A day in the life of our Lifecycle Marketing Manager:
This position will support Lifecycle Marketing programs in the following ways:
- Develop Lifecycle Marketing plans to grow user engagement and subscriber growth in key international markets
- Gather deliverables from internal stakeholders and ensure projects are executed on time
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to understand viewership trends specific to international regions and convert actionable insights into campaign strategies
- Build dashboards and regularly report on our KPIs focusing on viewership retention, subscription conversion, and subscription retention
- Work with internal stakeholders who are key international leads to understand changing competitive landscapes to evolve our long term strategy
