Manager, Corporate PR
Mission
Calm is looking for a PR manager to join the global communications team specializing in corporate communications. With a focus on Calm’s growing enterprise business, this role will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence and reputation among key business and enterprise trade titles.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working in and executing with a global team
- Brings established relationships to positively position Calm within the B2B media marketplace
- Has affinity for media relations + changing media landscape
- Has strong organizational, project management and multitasking skills
- Has the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, external partners and coworkers across function to ensure timely execution of campaigns
- PR agency experience: B2B / consumer tech, wellness preferred
Outcomes
- Drive Calm for Business PR strategy in the US, with opportunity to scale globally
- Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
- Brief and support Calm executives in B2B media interviews
- Define key messages on topics relevant to Calm for Business
- Manage inbound corporate media requests
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive successful launches
- Elevate Calm for Business thought leadership strategy including: bylines, award submissions, conferences and speaking engagements
- Maintain ongoing tasks and schedules, internal team updates and reporting
Competencies
- 5+ years experience with a focus on corporate and enterprise communications
- Expertise in media relations and close relationships with enterprise media
- Strong written communications with extremely strong attention to detail. You’re an excellent communicator and storyteller.
- Perspective ability, able to provide recommendations with supporting rationale to drive internal alignment
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and a variety of external partners
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness and track record of hard work
- You are a strong project manager. You’re able to multitask and juggle multiple projects, will follow up on deadlines, flagging questions + issues, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Proactive, resourceful and hands-on by nature.
- Creative. Develops and ideates approaches + efficiencies
- Interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, positive energy
