This position can be remote or based out of our HQ in San Francisco, CA and reports to the Director of Marketing, Content & Community.

The Role

As a Marketing Content Manager you will:

  • Own digital asset management operations including written, visual & video content for marketing needs including managing vendors, external producers, events, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product & design to deliver creative assets to internal & external stakeholders including across university & tech partner channels
  • Write & review copy for brand platforms, making sure all content aligns with brand voice
  • Develop topic ideas for workshops, webinars, and other types of content marketing events and then overseeing or developing content for these formats
  • Identify opportunities for affiliate/content marketing relationships and PR 
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership and drafting articles that can be shared in publications
  • Create & implement project management for student testimonials and success stories
  • Coordinate regular blog post production from ideation to publication
  • Own & maintain Pathstream content calendar
  • Work closely with Director of Marketing, Content & Community to develop quarterly content strategy and deliver on team priorities

YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU 

  • Love producing content -- you have experience putting writing, images, and/or videos into the world
  • Have excellent writing & editing skills. You’re the person your friends go to to read their essays and cover letters
  • Have experience managing a consistent tone and voice across assets
  • Are highly organized & self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, and excellent team communication skills
  • Are process-oriented but also flexible and able to pivot based on needs
  • Have experience in project planning and/or management
  • Are able to work quickly and adapt to an agile start-up environment
  • Are enthusiastic about  Pathstream’s mission
  • Have 2-4 years of marketing operations or content experience, preferably in a start-up or fast-changing environment

Nice to have experience:

  • DAM or project management software
  • Design software such as Canva
  • Event Management
  • Owning a content calendar
