General Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate PC Gamer to lead marketing communication and campaigns for Gamer Sensei. The ideal candidate has experience leading marketing strategy, is highly organized and willing to assist and think critically and creatively to help key marketing initiatives within the company to help drive customer acquisition.The Gamer Sensei Marketing Manager will be responsible to:
- Build out a consistent brand and communication strategy
- Development of a roadmap of campaigns to grow customer base
- Drive traffic to the Gamer Sensei website
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Work with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to create key campaigns including customer acquisition, engagement and programs, new community content and sales promotions.
- Build out marketing plans determining communication strategy, required assets and develop new creative ideas.
- Work with the Gamer Sensei team to produce briefs detailing each piece of the marketing campaign, ensuring creative meets key messaging.
- Excellent internal communication across all teams to drive asset creation in a timely and organised manner.
- Create, communicate, and execute the marketing plan to agreed objectives, working with digital marketing, social media, PR, and other departments to drive marketing communication execution
- Compile marketing reports which track campaign highlights, exposure metrics, and performance against KPIs. Analyze the impact of marketing efforts against site traffic and conversion.
- Develop new customer ‘lures’ based on customer needs, market trends, or new partnership opportunities
- Ensure Gamer Sensei collateral is fresh and relevant – video, pictorial and text – commissioning new material as appropriate
- Serve as an ‘Gaming’ expert who is aware of the events calendar across multiple games and how those events can drive usage of Gamer Sensei’s services
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years years experience in outbound marketing communications
- Demonstrated history of successfully managing marketing campaigns, working across teams, and driving performance in a cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Bachelor degree in marketing or higher in relevant field
- Interest in PC gaming and deep understanding of gaming culture
- Able to think outside-of-the-box for pitching ideas for marketing communication strategy and driving creative
- Highly organized self starter and detail-oriented with exceptional time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
- Strong writing skills with mastery of the english language
- Presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at varying levels of the organization
- Ability to quicklyidentify issues, develop and communicate a recommended plan of action
