Marketing Operations Manager

The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will work cross-functionally with our marketing and sales operations teams to develop repeatable and scalable processes that directly impact our revenue and time-to-market. You will be tasked with ensuring smooth and on-time execution of marketing campaigns and providing feedback to stakeholders on what is working and what isn’t. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in building out the foundational operational processes at a company experiencing hypergrowth.
Responsibilities include:
- Build out marketing campaigns (emails, landing pages, workflows) in Marketo and drive best practices for nurture, campaign execution, and email marketing
- Support the optimization of our lead scoring and routing methodology to increase funnel efficiencies and conversion rates
- Own, manage and optimize MarTech stack including: tool evaluation, implementation, configuration, integration, sync relationships, general troubleshooting, and any other associated technical aspects
- Collaborate with marketing managers on KPI reporting and attribution of marketing activities and investments, including leads, MQLs, engagement, and pipeline and revenue influence
- Serve as primary admin for company's Marketo instance, making design and process changes as required while the organization continues to scale
- Own, manage and optimize marketing systems and data management operations used to execute and report on marketing programs throughout the lead lifecycle end-to-end including: automation, segmentation, targeting, delivery, data capture, enrichment, routing, attribution, data hygiene, governance, etc.
- Partner with Sales Ops to ensure operational excellence across lead delivery, attribution, assignment, and disposition process compliance
The Team:
This role will be part of Carrot’s Marketing team and will sit within the demand generation function. Carrot’s Marketing team is responsible for sharing the Carrot story with the world, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business externally. The demand generation function builds campaigns that generate top funnel leads while also nurturing and engaging existing leads through pipeline conversion. This role will also involve regular collaboration with the sales and business operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years working in a B2B SaaS organization
- 2+ years of marketing automation experience (Marketo and Salesforce strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of GDPR, TCPA and CCPA regulations and guidelines
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure on time delivery
- You are analytically minded - use data to make decisions
- You have project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization
- You have experience with a variety of sales and marketing systems and tools and an understanding of how they interact and integrate with Marketo.

- Experience managing and building workflows in Marketo
- Experience with Bizible
- Experience with Salesforce
