Marketing Technologist
Meraki is looking for a Marketing Technologist to design/select, implement, and operate the technology solutions that serve our marketing team! To be successful in this role, you will need to see the big picture and execute rapidly. In addition, you have proven experience translating business requirements into technical solutions. You are a builder who is a creative problem solver, passionate about marTech, and understands the technology's business context.
What You'll Do
- Understanding and documenting the organization's requirements - serve as the primary point of contact between our technology vendors and our marketing team
- Performing a Build vs. Buy analysis - Translate business needs to technical requirements that will guide system implementation and integration
- Staying in lock-step with vendors and their roadmaps for acquired technology to ensure that critical vendors are keeping pace with industry innovations and developing the features needed by the organization.
- Being the technology expert and "source of truth" about the technology for the organization.
- Looking ahead and staying on top of technology innovation.
- Develop, support, and maintain integrations amongst marketing automation, content management, analytics, and marketing technology systems
- Becoming the resident expert on current and future digital tools to support our marketing initiatives
- Help optimize and support system integrations for lead nurturing and demand generation workflows and campaigns
- Conducting an audit of our current technical capabilities and how they map to our plans
Who You Are
- You have strong technical aptitude as well as 5+ years of experience with managing custom implementations of marketing automation, databases, CRM, and analytics systems in a large technology company
- You have a keen ability to explain technical considerations to non-technical team members in a concise, meaningful way
- You have strong analytical and/or systems design background - 5+ years of experience required
- You have strong communication and organizational skills, particularly with managing large projects that span multiple back-end systems
- You are passionate to learn about and test the latest technologies
- Bachelors degree required
- Ideally you've worked for large technology companies with hardware and software products
