Member Engagement Marketing Manager

The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Member Engagement Marketing Manager to drive user marketing efforts, nurturing Carrot members through multiple channels over the course of their family-forming journeys. This newly-created role will be responsible for understanding every Carrot member’s journey, defining landmarks along the way, and executing and reporting on programs that drive deeper engagement. While email marketing will be a major component of this role, we’re looking for people excited about building user relationships across multiple channels. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for health and technology, and a successful track record driving user engagement and retention. This role will report to Carrot’s Senior Director of Marketing.
- Own the Carrot member user journey in partnership with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales, creating detailed nurture campaigns to drive activation and adoption of the product
- Own the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all member marketing campaigns (developing webinars, building and sending emails, A/B testing, reporting)
- Identify opportunities for targeted communication based on user interests, demographics, etc.
- Analyze and monitor the impact of programs, using insights to constantly optimize approaches
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Design, Product, Security, and Data Science to deliver personalized, compliant member communications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with engagement marketing programs, ideally within high-growth companies
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Must have excellent project management skills, be deadline-oriented, and have strong attention to detail
- Experience with platforms like Marketo and Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve across teams and tools
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Track record of effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
