The Role:
As Afterpay’s Partner Marketing Manager, you will work with multiple teams across various functions including Marketing channel owners, Finance, Product, Legal, Analytics to ensure that partner marketing campaigns are planned and executed flawlessly. Success in this role is to own the end-to-end campaign development and execution in partnership with Afterpay retailers, drive clarity & lead in ambiguous situations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the holistic retailer marketing relationship driving success for our retail partners at launch and throughout the relationship.
- Strategically and creatively partner with retailers on marketing programs that will drive new customer acquisition and GMV growth from creative conception to launch, and analysis.
- Drive retailer engagement and participation in Afterpay marketing efforts to achieve subscriber, revenue and engagement goals.
- Collaborate with retail partners to maintain consistent Afterpay branding/support across their channels
- Partner across Marketing Channel Owners, Client Success, Legal, Analytics to support retailers across Afterpay Owned channels
- Be a shepherd for the Afterpay brand, ensuring messaging and positioning in retailer marketing campaigns aligns with overall Afterpay brand positioning
- Manage work streams throughout the creative concepting process to help build breakthrough creative that generates business outcomes
Who You Are:
- You are creative and excited about the opportunity to surface new and innovative ways to connect customers and merchants
- You have proven success in developing strong campaigns across channels
- You are a self-starter, able to take ownership and responsibility for projects. You anticipate problems and roll up your sleeves to tackle large projects and get things done
You know how to communicate proactively and effectively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- You excel at project management and have proven the ability to implement process optimization cross-functionally to achieve results.
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant work experience in marketing or creative campaign management with proven ability to manage large-scale marketing campaigns
- Background working with traditional and digital media
- Retail and agency experience a plus
