About the Role

You will be responsible for driving subscriptions at an acceptable payback across various digital marketing channels. You will have access to a generous monthly budget, directly influence the growth strategy and product roadmap, learn from a team of best-in-class marketers and gain exposure to the executive leadership team. Most importantly, you will be given the opportunity to make a material impact at one of the fastest growing media companies in the world. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys making data-driven decisions and is comfortable learning new concepts (both quantitative and qualitative).

Responsibilities

  • Support growth initiatives across multiple channels, including: paid social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat), search, influencer, podcasts, and display (among other channels)
  • Utilize data to test and validate new strategies that drive sustainable customer acquisition at scale and apply basic knowledge of statistics to separate signal from noise
  • Execute on creative, targeting, and user onboarding flows
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders on design, analytics, product and engineering
  • Provide performance forecasting updates to leadership and make recommendations on how ad dollars should be deployed
  • Foster strong relationships with paid media agencies and technology partners

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of foundational professional experience in a digital marketing or data-focused field
  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing with a performance focused digital channel
  • Strong desire to learn how things work and how they can be improved
  • Extremely analytical with strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and skillfully distill results into a narrative that helps inform strategy
  • Understanding of the subscription revenue model in the digital media space
  • Advanced excel skills, SQL a plus
  • Candidate must work in our San Francisco office
