Product Marketing Manager 

As a Product Marketing Manager (Competitive & Market Intelligence) at Moveworks, you will help drive market strategy and create compelling messaging and positioning that communicates our value and differentiates us from the competition at scale.

Our AI is redefining how companies support employees, allowing them to stay productive wherever they’re working and whenever they need help. You’ll build relationships across the business, continuously monitor the ever-evolving competitive landscape, craft compelling intelligence materials, enable the field, and help shape the product roadmap.

This isn’t just an execution-focused role. You will be our first dedicated competitive & market intelligence hire at Moveworks, playing a key role in shaping how we continue to win in our market. If you enjoy digging into technology and analyzing it, building product and market competitive analyses and playbooks, and stepping into deal cycles as an SME to help sales increase competitive win rates, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand the competition and existing market technology by researching, using, and analyzing competitive products and services
  • Understand the competition and existing market positioning by monitoring announcements, news, review sites, analyst reports, and other published sources
  • Interview customers and run focus groups to directly understand Moveworks’ competitive edge
  • Position the strengths and weaknesses of Moveworks against competitors and produce content that presents Moveworks in the most effective way
  • Develop and present battlecards, kill sheets, technical guides, and data sheets to help sales and partners win in competitive situations
  • Assist in regular win-loss analysis with sales enablement to improve competitive conversion rates
  • Develop and own all aspects of field enablement for sales, marketing, and partner audiences
  • Deeply understand the technical details of competitors’ offerings and be the focal point for field queries during active engagements
  • Contribute to critical product and go-to-market decision making by partnering with sales, product management, and the broader marketing team
  • Inform pricing and packaging decisions for new features and offerings, working with product, marketing, sales, finance, and legal teams

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of job experience, with 3+ years experience in a product marketing role, competitive intelligence, management consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking
  • Highly analytical, master communicator who can distill complex, technical concepts into compelling messaging and business value
  • A high-quality portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write and deliver content
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build champions with internal and external stakeholders across diverse teams
  • Insatiable curiosity and a passion for understanding customers and new technologies
  • Well-rounded business athlete - equally adept at strategy, analytics, content development, enablement, and operations
  • A knack for public speaking and presentations, whether to existing prospects, executives, sales teams, product managers, and more.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus
