What are we looking for?

This position is a Director, Product Marketing Federal & Public Sector position reporting to the VP of Product Marketing. As a product marketing sector lead, your primary internal customer is the Government, Healthcare, and Education (GHE) sales organization. You will be the primary marketing delivery point of contact for GHE-specific content and territory programming plans. Your mission is to articulate a clear, consistent and creative go-to-market value proposition for our GHE target markets while acting as the linchpin between our GHE sales team and various Marketing teams (within product marketing, field marketing, demand generation, brand, etc). You will have the opportunity to develop compelling go-to-market initiatives and sales enablement programs while being a part of our product positioning and messaging. You will also work with our sales enablement teams on education and enablement initiatives for sellers and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact between Product Marketing and the GHE Team and in that capacity understand and help solve GHE Team marketing pain points while providing value to grow that side of our business.
  • Create compelling articulation of SentinelOne’s key capabilities, differentiators, benefits, ROI, and use cases for target customer segments with emphasis on and as pertains to the Federal, State, and local governments, the healthcare sector, and the education sector “GHE”.
  • Develop (defined as: conceive of, write, solicit feedback, finalize) compelling messaging, product literature, website content, competitive positioning, customer-facing presentations especially those that address GHE-specific pain points.
  • Deliver content, assets, and tools including blog posts, whitepapers, presentations, demos, videos, social assets, webinars, ROI tools and other market-facing materials.
  • Identify thought leaders and topics - including research, information gathering, technical investigation, testing and publishing.
  • Working in concert with our field marketing organization, strategize and execute GHE marketing business plans that include impactful associations and GTM channel partners.
  • Work closely across all marketing teams to develop and execute demand gen and awareness campaigns, specifically for Federal and in coordination with field marketing managers for GHE.
  • Understand sales/channel requirements and communicate the value proposition of the products to the GHE field team and develop the enablement tools to accelerate sales cycles. 

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Big passion for cyber-security and for creating high-impact marketing materials and campaigns. Well-versed in persona-based B2B marketing strategies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience creating  and managing field and virtual events specifically for Federal markets  
  • Experience with Federal partner ecosystem, plus owning Carahsoft relationship
  • Be familiar with regulatory compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC, HIPAA, FERPA, etc) as a driver for GHE vendor capability selection criteria.
  • Be familiar with GHE industry trends, persona interests and requirements.
  • Be familiar with how various technologies solve business problems: next-generation endpoint protection, cyber-security technologies (traditional antivirus, NGAV, EDR, IR, Zero Trust, network discovery products), vulnerability assessment, and endpoint computing and cloud platforms. Of all areas listed, endpoint experience is a big plus!
  • Strong written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills. Highly collaborative with a deep sense of ownership and accountability. Easily builds business partnerships and inspires team members.
  • Data driven and detail-oriented, executing the full cycle of marketing events and delivering impactful campaigns within budget. 
  • Team player that can operate without close supervision, including working in remote locations. Conduct detailed reporting of timelines and tasks progress and completion.
