About the Role

To further this mission, we’re looking for a product marketing expert to join our merchant product marketing team. As Product Marketing Manager for Merchants, you will be responsible for launching new products that help merchants grow their business, run their operations smoothly, and take control of their success. Through close collaboration with product management and operations you’ll launch new products and design marketing strategies that grow merchant engagement with existing features. You’ll work closely with partners in Sales to develop and deploy pitch materials that educate merchants on our products and grow revenue for DoorDash.

The ideal candidate is deeply grounded in audience insights and has a proven track record of driving successful launches and marketing initiatives for B2B audiences. You will thrive on analytics and set and achieve goals for projects that raise the bar for impact against engagement and business goals. 

This role is based out of our San Francisco headquarters.

What You'll Do

  • Own the development of marketing strategies that drive Merchant awareness and engagement with new and existing features
  • Define and drive comprehensive go-to-market plans for new features from audience definition, development of core value proposition, to launch and sustain through owned, in-product, and sales channels
  • Develop educational materials, pitch decks, and sales collateral to help existing DoorDash Merchants get the most out of the DoorDash platform
  • Create and scale lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive feature adoption among longtail Merchant audiences
  • Partner closely with research, sales, and analytics to develop a deeper understanding of the Merchant audience and surface opportunities to senior product leadership to inform the roadmap
  • Proactively identify and execute on opportunities to drive increased adoption with new and existing Merchants through close partnership with analytics, product management, and business strategy

Qualifications

  • BA, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing in a corporate or startup environment
  • Proven track record of driving successful go-to-market launches that drive adoption and bottom line impact
  • Fluency with data - including market/segment sizing, forecasting, and working with analytics to understand efficacy of campaigns after the fact
