Public Relations Manager, B2B
The opportunity
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. More than 20 million people around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant every day. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Public Relations Manager, B2B, to join our Communications team and play a critical role in accelerating awareness and adoption of Grammarly Business. Working closely with Grammarly’s Senior Public Relations Manager, this B2B-focused role will be directly responsible for executing key product launches and news moments, scaling and overseeing a B2B storytelling program, building relationships with key business reporters, identifying new publications and conferences to gain insights and best practices, and developing necessary content to successfully establish Grammarly as a leader in enterprise technology. The B2B PR Manager will liaise closely with Grammarly’s Product Marketing and Content Strategy teams to create and lead integrated B2B campaigns.
Your impact
Building and amplifying awareness of Grammarly Business among business media and prospective customers is essential to reaching Grammarly’s growth and product goals. In this role, you will lead this charge, showcasing how Grammarly has transformed a successful B2C business into a powerful B2B operation. This will mean finding ways to build credibility and confidence in the brand and product while also increasing the perception of Grammarly Business as a full-fledged writing assistant and workplace communications solution.
This is the first-ever dedicated B2B PR role at Grammarly, so you will get the opportunity to build a lot from scratch and see it through. It’s an ideal position for someone who’s looking to drive B2B PR strategy for a high-growth, successful SaaS company with a meaningful mission. You will have the support of an extremely creative Marketing organization and the unique opportunity to partner with a multicultural team that includes communications professionals in Kyiv, Ukraine.
- In your first 30 days, you will dive deep on company strategy and business goals, familiarize yourself with Grammarly’s past PR campaigns as well as our current B2B media relations plans and processes, learn about Grammarly’s content strategy and product roadmap, and begin building relationships with key Grammarly Business team members. You will also become familiar with our media-monitoring platform.
- In your first 60 days, you will assume ownership of day-to-day B2B media relations, create measurable B2B PR plans that support business goals and take competitive landscape into account, and begin relationship-building with key B2B/enterprise reporters. You will also build a Grammarly Business PR toolkit that outlines engagement principles, guidance for customer wins, tiered announcement strategy, and needs/dependencies for storytelling.
- In your first 90 days—and beyond—you will kick off several developed B2B PR strategies (and contribute to the PR rolling annual plan), begin building spokespeople’s personal brands to support Grammarly Business goals, evaluate the role of events and awards in building Grammarly Business reputation, and define Grammarly’s long-term B2B public relations vision.

- Has experience developing and executing on a B2B-focused media strategy (product launches, data stories, thought leadership, etc.) in a tech company or as part of an agency supporting B2B tech clients.
- Is patient and nimble and can adapt strategy to a shifting product roadmap while it undergoes consistent testing and updates.
- Can articulate a strong message about augmentative AI and the value of a writing assistant—even to parties who may be skeptical at first.
- Displays exemplary written communication and has the ability to clearly and effectively articulate ideas and give feedback verbally.
- Has impeccable project management skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy (including follow-through).
- Has a deep understanding of—and experience with—notable business/SaaS industry media, events, and awards.
- Can convey a brand’s story in words and images in a way that connects emotionally and psychologically with the target audience.
- Takes data insights and turns them into engaging stories that advance the brand narrative.
- Understands and can explain a technical product as well as (or better than) a product manager and puts the value into clear language for external audiences.
- Thrives in a start-up culture; is self-driven and can develop strategy, then execute on it tactically.
