Growth Marketing at Varo 

We are looking for a SEM Manager, Web to manage key paid user acquisition channels, which will include Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Affiliates. You’ll be responsible for building and executing plans that drive scalable and sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with data, design, brand, product marketing, research, and other teams across the organization. 

As a SEM Manager, Web you'll...

• Build, manage, and own the paid ad channels (e.g., Google Search, Yahoo, Bing, Display, Youtube, and other Affiliates) 
• Own strategy to execute and optimize activations and revenue growth
• Work with our analytics team to build dashboards and pull data to optimize ad delivery
• Analytical, continually testing, iterating, and learning to find the best multi-channel paid mix
• You’ll own the Growth Marketing Web paid budget and its deployment
• Execute KPIs, particularly around signups, activations, activation rate, cost-per-acquisition, and cost-per-activation. Plan to outperform them
• Experience – and a desire – to do both strategic planning and daily execution/optimization
• Work alongside with Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, Design, Brand, Data Analytics. 

You have the following required experience....

• 3+ years of SEM performance marketing experience at a fast-growing B2C tech company
• Experience with landing pages A/B testing and optimization
• Thorough understanding of ad attribution, tracking, and GTM implementation
• Appetite to learn, always looking for new tactics, channels, and strategies to implement in your work
• Experience managing large budgets (at least over $500k a month) 
• Intellectual curiosity coupled with a highly analytical approach in assessing what is working and where to drive improved performance.
• Working familiarity with marketing analytics and product analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Marketo)
• Ability to prioritize and drive multiple simultaneous deliverables to execution with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
