About the Role

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Dasher Audience Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Dasher Experience, and Insights to acquire, engage, promote, and celebrate Dashers on the platform. These programs will accelerate acquisition, activation and loyalty with Dashers, but ultimately across all DoorDash audiences. This is a truly unique opportunity to help define and shape a fast-growing, global brand for millions of Dashers (and prospective Dashers) around the globe with the mission of “delivering good by connecting people and possibility."

What You’ll Do

  • Understand our Dasher Brand Health metrics, NPS, and Retention
  • Support the creation of an industry-leading partnerships portfolio and help drive awareness to the available offerings
  • Work closely with the Policy team, Dasher Experience, and DCC to engage regularly with Dashers on the platform and help bring their stories to life
  • Work closely with Growth and S&O to develop clear and cohesive messaging around expectations when on the platform - from initial onboarding to potential offboarding
  • Use a data-first approach to optimize campaigns against our goals, improve retention and satisfaction, and drive results
  • Create regular internal reports to track campaign, communications, and promotion performance

About You

  • You are incredibly strategic - you understand the impact of your decisions for the short and long term, and you can manage both high level strategy and detailed execution
  • You are highly organized - you can efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • You are a team player - you have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members within the company
  • You are comfortable with creativity, and analytics - you can brainstorm campaigns idea, and do the analytical work to prove their efficacy 
  • You have a keen attention detail - you can connect the dots across strategies to ensure we are aligned and in lockstep across teams and efforts to deliver a consistent experience for our stakeholders

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing or operations in a corporate or startup environment, 1099-business-model experience preferred
  • Thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience identifying, diagnosing and solving ambiguous problems
  • Creative sense and good design taste
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Fluency with data - including market/segment sizing, forecasting, and working with analytics to understand efficacy of campaigns after the fact
  • Dashing experience a plus!
