Lattice is a people management tool that offers performance reviews, employee engagement surveys, real-time feedback, weekly check-ins, and goal setting in a way that allows companies to focus on employee development, growth, and engagement. Since launching in 2016 we have grown to over 2,000 customers globally, including brands like Slack, Reddit, Glossier, and Asana.

Who we’re looking for

You have a deep passion for all things inbound marketing and are excited to take Lattice’s inbound growth machine to the next level. You’re a mad scientist with an insatiable thirst for web optimization, relentlessly ideating and executing on the opportunities you’ve identified. You’re a savant at getting prospects to engage with digital properties, and understand the way B2B buyers think, writing copy and designing experiences that ultimately lead to conversions in the form of demo requests, content downloads, and event registrations. You understand the power of strong SEO and look forward to working with our SEO agency, content and development teams to attract and convert volumes of quality traffic to our site.

This is not a traditional inbound role. Lattice does not operate like traditional product-led growth company, which tend to have a free trial as their primary source of top of funnel leads. Instead, we rely on content and events to drive the bulk of top of funnel interest. This is a robust source of leads, and we’re looking for someone who can help us unlock more opportunities on our website, as well as convert more of this top of funnel interest to sales-ready opportunities. This is an important and highly visible role! Read on if this sounds interesting to you!

The Role

The Senior Manager of Inbound Marketing will report to the Head of Demand Generation, with whom you’ll co-own the inbound pipeline number to fuel Lattice’s top and bottom line growth. This leader will manage the strategic direction of Lattice prospect-facing web properties, with the primary goal of attracting and converting quality leads, while maintaining Lattice’s brand standards. This role will initially be an individual contributor role, but the right candidate will be able to earn the right to manage a team.

You’ll work closely with other key stakeholders across marketing, sales, finance and operations to make sure we’re attracting and converting the right types of leads at finance-friendly ROI numbers.

Last but perhaps most importantly, you’ll have the support of a world-class executive team as well as be able to work with a world-class revenue team.

Responsibilities

*Work cross-functionally with revenue leadership to align on an inbound strategy, then own the execution of the roadmap to hit key business objectives.

*Own the prospect-facing website and key KPIs such as visits to key pages, time on page, and demo / content conversions.

*Own our organic search lead number by working closely with the content team & SEO agency to ensure that our content efforts enable us to rank for the keyword traffic that produce sales-ready leads.

*Work closely with our design, content, event, product marketing teams and contractors to level up our digital footprint and create digital experiences that delight and convert, supporting programs across the entire funnel.

*Measurement is key to everything we do. Work with the marketing operations & analytics teams to ensure we have proper visibility on all inbound programs, and establish a regular communication cadence of metrics with leadership.

Our ideal candidate has some combination of the following characteristics

*8+ years working in growth-type roles, including at least 3 years of experience in inbound marketing type roles at B2B companies. The candidate should be able to quickly develop a deep understanding of our B2B HR buyer, and formulate strategies that attract and convert them.

*Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills. There will always be many initiatives going on at once, many of which you’ll be the driver of. You’ll be responsible for working cross-functionally to make sure important projects are completed on time and executed at a high standard. We’re looking for a team player who’ll fit in well with a high-performing team!

*Strong analytical skills, but also a good intuitive sense in the absence of data. You’ll have access to large datasets from sources like Google Analytics, VWO, Marketo, Salesforce, Segment, Mode and more - you’ll be asked to lead design & test processes that improve our conversion rates. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeve and create pages in our CMS (Webflow), landing page tools (Instapage, etc.) as well as overlay tools (Sumo, etc.). You should be able to dive into tools like VWO & Optimizely to manage our digital A/B tests.

*Must be a proactive & great communicator up, down, and laterally. The sales team is our ultimate customer, so you’ve had experience interfacing with sales leadership and can communicate with them to align on goals. We also have an awesome design team based on France, so excellent written & oral communication skills are important.

*Creative at heart. There are very few “original” ideas left in this world, but you can take the essence of existing ideas that work well and turn them into even better campaigns that help us accomplish our goals. If you can think of original ideas that work well, well, more power to you!

*Never satisfied - there is always something else to tweak and optimize. Find our inefficiencies, propose a solution, test, implement, measure, and repeat!

*Expertise with CMS platforms (Webflow preferred) a must-have. Proficiency with marketing automation (Marketo preferred) and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) is a strong plus.

*Technical skills, especially expertise with HTML/CSS a nice-to-have. Have a personal website that you coded “in your spare time”? We’d love to see it!

*Design skills a plus!
