Position Summary

Expanse is looking for an experienced and creative demand generation leader to join our marketing team. In this role you'll be tasked with owning the development and direction of all aspects of demand generation across our product and use cases, including key decisions around systems and campaign approaches. This is a highly cross-functional role; you will work closely with leaders across sales, sales operations, product marketing, customer success, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with product marketing and sales leadership to develop programs that will both generate new, qualified leads and accelerate existing pipeline through the sales process.
  • Develop outbound and inbound programs, including email, paid advertising, social, webinars, web optimization and SEO, review sites, content syndication, and account based targeting, that will deliver an increasing volume of qualified pipeline for the sales team.
  • Define, execute, and optimize demand generation strategies and channels across product lines and priority audiences; be accountable for the performance of these programs in service of company growth and revenue goals.
  • Build systems and processes that will track and report on key performance metrics, and use this data to continually optimize campaign strategies.
  • Help guide the selection and implementation of a flexible marketing tech stack in partnership with sales leadership, particularly one that can be scaled as the needs of a growing organization will demand.
  • Hire and lead a team of talented growth marketers, developing their skills and helping define their career paths at Expanse.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in demand generation
  • Experience hiring, leading, and growing high performing teams
  • Demonstrated track record of building demand generation programs that drove customer acquisition, upsell, and revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of how to tailor marketing tactics and channels to large, Fortune 500 companies
  • Extensive knowledge of account-based marketing techniques and strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work across communication mediums
  • Grace under pressure and comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
