We are looking for a senior marketing leader to build out a team that is responsible for scaling our business for financial institutions. As the marketing leader for institutional, you will be driving all product marketing, sales enablement, and b2b events supporting our institutional product and sales teams
You’ll have the opportunity to help design and lead marketing pushes and collaborate regularly with the senior product, bizops, legal, and data teams. The role is critical to the success of our growth ambitions. You will build a team of highly skilled marketers who will oversee critical launch strategies and activities globally.
What you will do in this role:
- Partner with senior product and marketing leadership to define Coinbase’s strategy to grow our institutional business including hedge funds, investment banks, corporations, family offices and high net worth individuals.
- Lead international GTM and Activation efforts--develop and build a team to execute on the marketing strategy to launch and drive Coinbase adoption at scale in the US and around the world
- Partner with research teams to uncover customer insights and product gaps based on industry use cases, regulation, and sector nuances.
- Build, coach and manage a team of distributed, highly skilled Marketers. Prioritize their efforts and guide them to making a significant impact on the business.
- Clearly define and drive alignment around targets and ensure the team’s individual outputs and deliverables can meet these goals.
What we look for in you:
- 15+ years of experience in marketing within a tech or financial services company with experience leading product marketing, sales enablement, and event marketing teams
- 10+ years of people management experience
- Tough, practical and flexible leader who can thrive in a very high-pressure environment.
- Experience building and driving cross-functional operation models and process improvement projects.
- Ability to work quickly and glean the “so what” from high volumes of information, incomplete data, and shifting priorities
- Exceptional presentation, communication and people management skills.
