The Role:

The world of events has evolved and continues to evolve since the COVID-19 outbreak. We believe virtual events are here to stay. To enable us to innovate and scale our virtual event programs, we are looking for a scrappy, thoughtful, and innovative events professional who isn’t afraid to take risks, try new things, and help Lyra define the next chapter of “virtual event success.”We are looking for a highly organized, goal-oriented, data-driven, self-starter to join our event marketing team and be an active player in our larger demand generation team. This role is responsible for the planning and executing our webinars and virtual event programs. You will work cross-functionally with other marketing team members to bring your events to life, and our sales team to ensure value is generated from your efforts.

What you will do:

  • Manage webinar & virtual event programs end to end, from logistics to post-event follow-up
  • Work with the Event Marketing Lead to develop and launch new virtual event programs
  • Once events return to in-person, work with the Event Marketing Lead to develop our hybrid event strategy
  • Work with Marketing Operation to manage tools in our virtual event techstack
  • Strategize, build and execute integrated campaigns--- including email campaigns, paid ads, direct mail, etc -- to drive engagement pre- and post-event
  • Work with sales and customer success to coordinate proper pre-event outreach and post-event follow up
  • Establish measurable objectives and success criteria, including pre-and-post evaluations and ROI analysis and work with Marketing Operations manager to track, measure and report accordingly
  • Continuous reporting of plans, recommendations, and results to the Demand Generation team and extended GTM team (marketing, sales, customer success)
  • Assist Marketing Operations with data entry and list management from your events
  • Manage and reconcile part of the event team budget with assistance from the Event Marketing Lead
  • Process contracts and ensure proper timing of outbound payments
  • Support various other event marketing projects as needed (i.e. - our annual conference, Breakthrough)

Who you are:

  • Have 3+ years of professional experience in managing event marketing programs
  • Have at least 1 year owning webinars and other virtual event programs
  • Have experience running events using webinar & virtual event platforms (e.g. GoToWebinar, Zoom, Bizzabo, etc.)
  • Obsessed with the attendee experience both in the detail you put into an event and the new types of virtual events you create
  • Have a history of approaching events with an analytical, results-driven mindset
  • Have a history of creativity to think outside the box
  • Must be results-oriented and have the ability to succeed in a collaborative startup environment
  • Strong written and communication skillsExperience with Salesforce a plusProficiency with Marketo or similar marketing automation software Familiarity with the health benefits and/or mental health benefits industry a plus
