About the role:

This role is at the heart of the Grand Rounds marketing strategy. We are looking for that special person who is a “triple threat”. 1. Comfortable thinking about the operational scale of email and direct mail programs - who is comfortable under the hood making sure we have the best platform, work efficiently and are error free. 2 Obsessed with a test and learn environment and looking for creative opportunities to optimize messaging, campaigns, templates, landing pages etc. 3. Looking to drive ROI for these important channels and comfortable analyzing data and building insights. The last component (quadruple threat!) is nurturing a team of subject matter experts and developing their careers and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating and analyzing direct response activities – mail, email and SMS - to drive member acquisition/engagement.
  • Develops direct response plans and strategies for email, direct mail and SMS.
  • Gathers requirements for campaigns. 
  • Develops/writes campaign briefs.
  • Manages day-to-day relationships with internal teams and external vendors to implement multi-channel direct response marketing programs relative to creative development, print production, data needs.
  • Reviews and edits marketing materials and coordinates editing process with internal and external partners.
  • Drives disciplined Test & Learn strategy to continue to refine program effectiveness & ROI based on the results of previous tests.
  • Track & analyzes program performance results & synthesizes insights to develop future strategy recommendations.
  • Develops reports to communicate results to marketing peers and senior leadership.
  • Manages campaign budget.
  • Drives recommendation for platforms, tools to drive efficiency and making sure that we are leveraging the most relevant tools/technology to support our goals
  • Develops and manages a team 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in development and implementation of Direct Response Marketing Campaigns across multiple channels in an agency or corporate marketing environment.
  • Proven track record in developing testing programs and implementing and reviewing test performance.
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting variances.
  • Experience managing staff, cross functional and external partners in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proven self-starter.
  • Strong knowledge of Direct Response Marketing principles.
  • Problem solving skills.
