Who we’re looking for:

Skillz is looking to hire an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to own the production of full-funnel B2B marketing campaigns. This role is based in San Francisco and will report to the Senior Product Marketing Manager. You will drive meaningful developer acquisition campaigns, which will directly result in more Skillz-powered games being launched on the system. You will work alongside cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, and Developer Communications) to identify, execute and manage new demand generation campaigns. You are a person who is exceptionally skilled at building personal relationships and navigating complex organizations. You have a data-driven approach that results in precise reporting and forecasting. You are thoughtful, personable and willing to do what it takes to build out successful demand generation programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Take total ownership of developer acquisition to steadily increase game launches quarter over quarter
  • Improve conversion rates throughout the funnel with intelligent marketing automation & email campaigns
  • Run tactical advertising, content syndication and marketing programs to drive more top of the funnel interest
  • Help increase brand awareness amongst game developers, resulting in Skillz becoming a household name in gaming
  • Own marketing operations & produce an insight-based reporting structure to help all marketing team members make informed decisions

Your Skillz:

  • BS / BA degree, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing. 2-4 years of being a budget owner
  • A marketing tool guru: have deep & extensive knowledge of a wide range of marketing tools
  • Sound business judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Management experience is a plus
