The Role: Senior Content Marketing Manager - Remote role open to applicants in the U.S.A

In this role, you will first learn about IT operations, including the needs and pains of key personas in IT operations. Next, you’ll learn how BigPanda’s SaaS platform solves those pains and why BigPanda’s approach is dominating the category of AIOps (AI applied to IT operations.) You’ll then roll up your sleeves and tap into your storytelling and content creation skills to create compelling content for every stage of a prospect’s journey to becoming a BigPanda customer. 

Blog posts, solution briefs, whitepapers, scripts for videos and more - you know how to structure your story for each form factor, you enjoy creating those assets, and you’ve done it for 5+ years in the B2B SaaS space. 

You’re currently a content marketing manager that’s worked closely with product marketing or you’re a recovering product marketing manager that has a passion for storytelling and content! Or maybe you have a non-traditional background (whatever that might be) that led you to the intersection of content creation and enterprise software. .

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on BigPanda’s content strategy that establishes BigPanda’s AIOps Event Correlation and Automation (ECA) vision as the category leader. 
  • Create various content assets (in collaboration with SMEs and domain experts at BigPanda) needed to support multiple buyer personas (IT execs, managers and practitioners) along their journey to becoming a BigPanda customer. This content will span different stages of the funnel: 
  1. Top / Awareness and Thought Leadership: Develop short-form and long-form thought leadership content (blog posts and whitepapers) to evangelize the AIOps ECA category. 
  2. Middle / Research: Create eBooks, whitepapers, infographics and other content to support marketing demand-gen campaigns.  
  3. Bottom / Consideration: Create BigPanda product-related content that connects BigPanda capabilities to prospects’ business objectives, pains and problems.
  • Support PR and external awareness activities with content and materials.
  • Manage 3rd-party writers and content creators as-needed. 
  • Requirements 

      • 5+ years of content marketing experience in the enterprise B2B SaaS space, with a portfolio of created content targeted at IT execs, managers and practitioners.
      • Experience working with product marketing teams, and the ability to successfully collaborate with technologists, sales engineers and customer success stakeholders. 
      • Self‐motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
      • Detail and results oriented; skilled at both planning and hands‐on execution.
      • Desire to work with and live the BigPanda values: HEART - Hunger, Excellence, Active Transparency, Relentless Focus, and Treasuring the Journey. 
      • Experience managing external writers and content creators.
      • Experience creating content for IT personas is a must-have. Experience creating content for IT Ops personas is a bonus but not required.
      • Product and/or content marketing experience at a company that has created a category is a huge plus. 
      • Minimum of a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience required.
