What You Will Do:
This senior solutions marketing role is highly strategic and cross-functional, focusing on messaging and go-to-market initiatives targeting enterprises globally across various verticals and segments. You will work in the market strategy team partnering with various teams such as product management, integrated marketing, go-to-market, sales operations and sales. You will,
- Own marketing of cloud network platform solution within the Meraki portfolio
- Establish the platform as a foundation for customer IT and network infrastructure
- Create pull-through for wireless, security, SD-WAN/SASE, switching and IOT technologies
- Package and customize cross-portfolio products and technologies for target audiences
- Simplify complex, cross-architectural concepts into usable solutions and offers
- Develop a sound message with highly differentiated positioning
- Build the messaging architecture for cloud networking aligned to buyer personas
- Map customer requirements to the solution, identifying challenges and response
- Become trusted advisor to the seller community on specific solutions
- Initiate projects, with feedback loop, to grow revenues for cloud networking
- Drive cross-functional programs, championing the solution among internal teams
- Evangelize the Cisco Meraki vision and solutions at internal and industry events
- Produce compelling content, repurpose by program and medium (blogs, articles, etc.)
- Suggest strategies and tactics to address industry trends and competitive moves
- Measure and track progress of owned projects and programs
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of product, solutions or technology marketing experience
- Built a proven track record of marketing to technical audiences
- Experience in quota-carrying sales or revenue-driven product management is a plus
- Experience in the networking, enterprise software or SaaS industry required
- Experience with cloud platform, open APIs, developers is a plus
- Have a customer-facing experience across a variety of segments globally
- Capable of unearthing customer requirements and connecting to the business
- Proficient in converting product features into durable benefits
- Possess outstanding written and spoken communications
- Storyteller with simple and thoughtful persuasion using well-defined visuals
- Can demonstrate portfolio of powerful content, long-form and short-form
- Creative problem solver who meets or beats project timelines
- Able to quickly build consensus up, down and across teams and vendors
- Highly proactive, skilled at independently initiating and leading projects
- Proficient with measuring owned marketing activities and projects
- Hold Bachelor's degree, MBA or master’s degree is a plus
- Flexible to travel up to 25%
