Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a Senior Talent Brand Manager reporting to the VP, Talent, on the Recruiting Team. In this role you will power our recruiting efforts by driving high quality candidates to Handshake and unlocking the potential of each team member to drive stronger results. You will activate and drive high quality inbound and partner with recruiters to build campaigns targeting our highest priority roles. You will build, manage and maintain all talent focused channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Key Values, etc) and find new avenues to position Handshake as an employer of choice and attract passive talent. You will build an event strategy to boost awareness particularly for underrepresented groups. 

You will also focus on designing content and imagery for our internal stakeholders such as Hiring Manager Training, Interview Training, Referral Program and Internal Mobility. You will partner with the Recruiting Coordinators to ensure all pieces of content and collateral we put in front of candidates is representative of our brand and also find new opportunities to operationalize and elevate our candidate experience.

Your Role:

  • Build the talent brand strategy for Handshake in partnership with the Recruiting and Marketing team
  • Design programs and execute on them to increase the quantity and quality of our inbound applicants especially those from underrepresented groups
  • Design and operationalize messaging that’s reflective of our brand and heightening market awareness through various talent channels and sourcing efforts
  • Increase the production, efficacy and attendance of our most critical programs - such a hiring manager training, interviewer training and our referral program
  • Assist in talent market expansion by partnering with local press, building microsites, campaigns and activating channels for hiring
  • Leverage our ATS, Greenhouse, to segment and build campaigns for passive talent and create rich, authentic, and continuous content highlighting life at Handshake
  • Manage all digital channels (Handshake Career Site, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Key Values, etc), find new ones, and optimize the mix of our candidate sources
  • Partner with the Recruiting Coordinators to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Lead efforts on Best Places to Work and other employer award lists

Your Experience:

  • Partnering with Recruiters, leaders, and executives to create and drive talent brand strategies and initiatives at scale
  • Creating long-term nurturing campaigns with passive talent
  • Building talent brand programs and operationalizing talent brand processes from scratch
  • Building compelling content and storytelling
  • Leveraging data to storytell and influence business processes and outcomes
  • Working in a hyper growth tech organization and building and leading towards scale
  • Working through ambiguity and driving incredible results
