This position is located in San Francisco, CA and reports to the Head of Marketing. We are remote until January/February 2022. This is not considered a remote position.

What you'll do

  • Ensure we are best-in-class with regards to SEO practices and results on the lemonaidhealth.com website and associated properties.
  • Own the content calendar (Healthaid blog posts) and work with writers to deliver content on a consistent basis.
  • Run organic social channels to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, develop and implement our SEO strategy.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research to discover opportunities and new trends within the rapidly-evolving health vertical, especially in emerging spaces like telehealth.
  • Monitor traffic, understand the impact of optimizations as well as external changes (algorithm updates, SERP changes, etc) 
  • Collaborate across various teams including Product and come up with strategies on how SEO channels can complement Product launches.
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs and prepare and present regular reports to team and senior leaders.
  • Help identify our patient persona to better target identified audiences.

What you'll bring

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing search engine optimization (SEO) programs at B2C startups is highly preferable. 
  • Experience with a variety of SEO reporting tools including Google Search Console, SEMRush, ahrefs, page speed insights
  • A deep understanding of HTML and browser rendering and the code that is detrimental or required for optimal SEO results.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau, etc. and an understanding of how to use this data to improve search visibility and user experience
  • Proven ability to develop and implement cutting-edge SEO strategies based on the most up-to-date SEO tactics, including link development, inbound marketing, social media and on-page factors.
  • Detailed understanding of the current algorithm and ranking signals for Google and Bing.
  • Search analytics background and exceptional quantitative skills for analyzing data, proposing actionable recommendations and taking action on it
  • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and kindly while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times

Our Interview Process:


At Lemonaid Health we have a strong culture of getting on video, (we call them GOV’s), all interviews are conducted over video for a more personalized experience. Below is a rough outline of what you can expect, times are approximated. 


-Initial Recruiter Screen, 30 minute

-Hiring Manager, 30 minute

-Take Home Exercise, 2 days

-Panel Interview, 2-3 hours

-Final Interview, 30 minute
