The Marketing team at Plaid is looking for a results-oriented SEO Specialist with expertise in organic traffic growth, organic funnel optimization and website experimentation. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge in all aspects of Search Engine Optimization, is both analytical and technical and has extensive experience in driving SEO programs with a proven record of delivering success.

This is a position for an outstanding online marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, pays strict attention to detail, is quick to take initiative, and has the passion to make a significant contribution to Plaid’s rapidly growing business.

What excites you:

  • Perform full SEO audits and analysis (site architecture & performance, content, links, etc.)
  • Monitor site health, identify issues and drive roadmap for technical SEO improvements
  • Analyze large data sets to understand our inbound funnels, help improve internal data infrastructure and reporting processes
  • Develop, drive and measure impact of SEO growth initiatives, provide SEO guidance for new product launches and website updates, work on implementation in cross-functional teams
  • Identify growth opportunities within Plaid’s integrated marketing efforts, develop and collaborate on cross-channel initiatives (e.g. Paid Search, Lifecycle etc.)
  • Manage website conversion rate optimization experiments, analysis, and reporting

What excites us:

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO, preferably at a top-tier consumer or enterprise software company
  • Have managed full-funnel growth programs including A/B testing, channel effectiveness, and LTV/CAC analysis
  • A sensitivity for branding and how each interaction impacts customer perception
  • Are great at distilling complex analyses into easy-to-consume business insights
  • Familiarity with relevant SEO, experimentation and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Segment, Optimizely, SEOclarity, Ahrefs, SEOradar, etc)
  • Keep abreast of digital marketing and SEO trends
  • SQL proficiency a plus
