The Opportunity
The Campaign Manager is responsible for execution, analysis and optimization of shopping moments for Afterpay’s merchants. This hire will be accountable for development, execution, day-to-day monitoring, and analysis of campaign and sales programs to drive direct sales for merchants. The role will work closely with the Global Engagement Lead, Partner Marketing, and internal and external stakeholders to develop and optimize global programs. Project managing is crucial for success in this role with a clear attention to detail in executing multiple campaigns at a time. Afterpay’s integrated campaigns leverage content, email, web, webinars, and more to hit quarterly engagement goals.

Develop, execute and manage monthly, quarterly, and seasonal marketing programs to accelerate selling moments for global SMB merchants.
Develop and manage the merchant-facing marketing campaign to increase participation and engagement in these programs.
Develop and manage the customer-facing marketing campaign to increase awareness and sales of these programs.
Partner with our Growth & CRM teams to deliver marketing exposure for our SMB merchants across our customer communications and Shop Directory.
Partner with the Brand Studio team to produce all merchant and customer marketing collateral for these programs including landing pages, paid advertising and email campaigns.
Develop, execute and track success of monthly and quarterly global programs like Afterpay Day, Clearpay Day, Support Small and several others. This role will be the primary point of contact for these global programs.
Work with onboarding specialists and product team to optimize merchant shop experience
Develop playbooks for regional stakeholders to ensure the right merchants are being placed in the right programs by sales, partner marketing and operations teams
Provide reports and dashboards tracking campaign performance to management

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
A strong background in e-commerce and retail merchandising
3-5+ years of B2B demand generation experience in SaaS and/or e-commerce, retail
An understanding of how best to engage and drive demand from retailers and e-commerce partners
Experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content, SEM, and paid digital programs
Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
Strong analytical skills and ability to make commercially impactful recommendations based on the data
Creative approach to developing campaigns and strong verbal and written communications skills a must
Strong ability to learn new products and solutions and translate value drivers to target audiences
The ability to partner with global professionals
Performance-driven culture and team-oriented approach
Experience effectively leveraging tools such a Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot or other marketing analytics tools.
