About the Role:  

As our first Corporate Event Manager, you will drive the strategy, management, and execution of our annual customer event, Explore, as well as other corporate, industry, and cross-team events. This position is hands-on, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. 

Reporting to the Director of Global Field Marketing and Corporate events, you will work directly with the global field marketing team to establish best practices for running successful events with measurable ROI.

Impact You’ll Own:

• Oversee Explore, Planet’s annual conference, from planning to execution, delivering on specific metrics and objectives
• Manage large industry events that require cross-team collaboration and alignment with regional needs and requirements
• Work with management and key stakeholders to establish event goals and objectives. Track and report on ROI and key metrics.
• Assist with the execution of our Sales Kickoff event and other internal offsites
• Develop detailed project plans and manage timetables in an extremely fast paced environment
• Research and recommend creative event options, venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget
• Provide onsite event support, registration management and other duties, as necessary

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in corporate event management, preferably in the B2B and technology space
• Understanding of the key drivers of successful event execution in digital, physical, and hybrid mediums 
• Experience using the latest event technologies, including streaming platforms, registration and participant management platforms, agenda management tools, recording and editing tools, event promotion tools, project and resource management tools, and tools for live event engagement
• Calm under pressure, with a knack for creatively overcoming obstacles
• Outstanding team communication
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Bachelor's Degree required

Compensation (only applicable for Colorado applicants):

The base pay range targeted for this position in Colorado is: $106,200 - $172,800. This role is eligible for equity.

The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations.
