About the role
As the Sr Dir/Dir/Sr Manager - Migration Strategy Marketing in the GTM Programs Team, you will be responsible for developing, building and leading the customer lifecycle strategies around product/solution migrations within the customer base. This will include driving strategy, program development, communications, reporting and project management of key migration initiatives in the company. This is a cross function role working with the customer success organization, GTM of Business Transformation, product management and marketing. Your goal will be to increase migration activation, drive higher value for RingCentral solutions, align and enable internal teams, provide clear communications and guidance to customers, remove obstacles, move customers through their migration process and most importantly-- and ensure the delivery of the highest level of satisfaction and experience to the customer.
What you’ll do:
- Understand the strategic importance of key migration initiatives, priorities and opportunities. Develop effective, and innovative strategies for migration within the install base though the use of integrated demand generation campaigns encompassing multi-channel strategies (email marketing, pendo, webinars, and a variety of other tactics, etc…)
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success organization, GTM Business Transformation team, product, pricing & packaging, competitive, etc. to build a cohesive, unified message to our customers and coordinate migration loyalty programs and customer journey strategies. Build return on investment and analysis as necessary to make decisions.
- Build a deep understanding of the customer base, distinct cohorts, key accounts, high value LTV customer, and identifying core insights to drive effective audience segmentation, targeting, & communications planning
- Develop, test and refine migration messages through each phase of migration journey towards the goal of successful adoption & usage across multiple communication channels
- Lead the testing behind identifying the best channels, messagings and offerings on how to motivate and migrate our customers through their migration journey
- Setup and continuously use analytics and insights to track and assess performance, identify key opportunities for improvement and execute changes when necessary
- Lead a team of of individuals to work collaboratively with other creative, marketing, engineering, and product managers to understand the roadmap, develop outstanding content, create better user experiences, and the promotion of product solution, features and value of migration targets
- Create, cultivate and manage a team of highly motivated individuals to to drive end-to-end program execution:
- Initial program definition, creation of program components, execution processes, success measurement, reporting, and the documentation of key learnings
- Design, build and test campaign deliverables such as: email copy, landing pages, calls to action, email layouts, pendo messages, detail, CTA and frequency, etc.
- Responsible for designing, tracking, and analyzing A/B testing experiments to help optimize our migration strategies
- Organize, maintain, and communicate a campaigns calendar reflecting all tactics to be used and the projected output from each
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve campaign performance, velocity, and overall effectiveness
- Measure and report on performance of demand generation programs and campaigns using data contained in Marketo, Salesforce, and other marketing ops platforms
Requirements:
- 4-7+ years of experience in B2B integrated demand generation campaigns or Digital Marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields; MBA is a plus
- Passionate, self-starter with can-do attitude to get things done. Up for the challenge at all times
- Strong understanding of SaaS migration strategies, customer lifecycle and the migration journey
- Depth of experience with Account Based Marketing concepts and tactics
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and delivering effective and innovative marketing campaigns and programs that meet or exceed baseline metrics
- Deep understanding of key metrics to gauge response rates across various tactics and digital channels to measure effectiveness
- Demonstrated success in partnering and building a successful relationship with sales, customer success managers and support
- Experience in content marketing, technical content marketing, audience segmentation and campaign analytics
- Excellent marketing project management skills to plan, execute and report on concurrent marketing projects and the ability to perform in a fast-paced and high energy environment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading.
