The Opportunity
Afterpay prides itself on having a large segment of loyal customers who see the service as their go-to place for budgeting their beauty and fashion shopping. We recently launched a loyalty program designed to provide extra rewards for our loyal users and to celebrate tier engagement with the brand. The program will also offer a set of benefits to the entire Afterpay audience across their entire lifecycle journey.
We are looking for an experienced growth and lifecycle marketer that will help us grow this program and share its perks with our engaged audience.
We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin….
Own our loyalty program (Pulse), global growth and retention strategy. Design a plan to increase the number of opt-ins and delight the program’s members.
Design lifecycle marketing, always-on, campaigns across email, push notification, SMS in-app /web channels to increase opt-ins, reduce churn and improve retention.
Deeply understand Afterpay users and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage of their lifecycle.
Write creative briefs and partner with creative teams to design campaign assets that drive engagement and align with our brand guidelines.
Work with CRM leads in AU, UK, CA and more, to optimize campaigns for a global and local impact.
Team up with the analytics team to design experimentation roadmaps and execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to enhance campaign effectiveness. Work with data science and product leads to design ways to scale successful experiments.
Who are you? (Qualifications)
Like us, you’ll be deeply committed to delivering positive outcomes for customers and passionate about shaping the future of Afterpay.
7+ years of experience in a growth or marketing capacity, with demonstrated experience developing and analyzing lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, push, in-app)
Previous experience in growing loyalty programs
Experience leading a cross-functional pod to hit company goals
Deep experimentation experience and mindset with a proven track record of executing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns and translating data into insights
Strategic and analytical thinker - proficiency with SQL is a must. You are expected to write and interpret queries.
Creative and empathetic thinker; you always think customer first
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, specifically with Product, Data Science, Engineering and Product Marketing
Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities
