The Role
As a key member of the engagement and lifecycle marketing team, you will support the Global Head of CRM in ensuring that our website, app, and trade marketing experience is optimized for our customers and merchant partners. You will manage a global team of merchandising and trade marketing experts who are focused on ensuring that the right promotional content for our customers is present on our sites, app, and newsletters. It will also involve working with tech teams on optimization tools including segmentation, personalization, geo-targeting, and promo tools testing. You will work with the team on regular reporting to ensure that we are learning and adapting continually. You will also collaborate across departments within the company as well as with merchant partners and brand leaders to ensure that we tell a delightful, consistent story to our customers while hitting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the vision, the strategy and the roadmap for maximizing the commercial impact of our sites and app, working closely with Tech, merchants, partners, and local Brand teams
- Own sites, app and email related KPIs and build cross-functional relationships across the business (Brand, tech and growth) to ensure the activity is optimized and in line with business objectives
- Use data tools and user surveys to shape the editorial content, promo packaging user journey to increase user retention and frequency
- Manage a global team of email marketing and site monetization specialists, including setting their KPIs and development objectives.
- Build playbooks, best practices and templates to partner with local merchants to create editorial calendars that increase purchasing frequency
- Work with the Product team to shape the future of marketing tools (e.g., personalization & promotion tools) designed to maximize the impact of owned channels
- Maximize the impact of our newsletters and trade marketing emails
- Work with global analytics to develop a reporting strategy
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in leading marketing initiatives and owning KPIs
- World-class experience in site merchandising and trade marketing on a global scale
- 3-5 year experience in managing a team
- SQL / analytics proficiency
- Solid experience of working in a global business environment
- Excellent communication and business development skills
- A natural affinity for an organic, authentic brand such as ours and the sensibility necessary to communicate it
