Harness is hiring a Search Engine Optimization Analyst to join our distributed global team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about SEO and loves diving into data and insights to develop creative ways to acquire new users of the Harness Software Delivery Platform!

We are looking for an Analyst who is experienced in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to help drive the company’s growth. You will help manage optimization projects that touch several areas of the business. This is a highly collaborative role, where you will engage with Product, Marketing, Digital and our Evangelists team to strategize, implement, track and report on performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role reports to the Director of Digital Marketing & Head of Growth.
• Partner with our product, marketing, and evangelist teams
• Assure new feature releases are SEO-friendly
• Run technical audits
• Be accountable for implementing, driving and optimizing Harness’s global SEO strategy
• Regularly perform detailed keywords research
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
• Collaborate across various teams — coordinate content, design from an SEO perspective etc
• Monitor key SEO KPIs and prepare and present reports regularly
• Stay up to date with SEO and digital marketing trends and methodologies
• Be a source of knowledge for all things SEO, proactively sharing ideas and recommendations to the rest of the business

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of exceeding business goals
• Eager to influence and challenge the status quo
• Detailed understanding of SEO techniques, tools, digital channels, proactively keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
• Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
• Advanced knowledge of analytical software such as Google Analytics, Conductor and other common web analytics platforms
• Highly collaborative with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of earning trust from the team and fellow leaders
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Excellent project and time management skills
• The ability to influence & drive change and to evangelize SEO throughout the organization
