Job Description
Zscaler's global partner marketing team plays a critical role in accelerating Zscaler's growth in driving best in class technology partner success to help grow sourced + influenced revenue and pipeline. We do this by creating differentiated demand programs, turnkey projects + campaigns, and curated experiences. The Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances Partner Marketing is part of this global partner marketing organization. This role will report to the Director, Global Partner Marketing.
The ideal candidate will help drive the GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy. They will own and lead co-marketing programs and initiatives for the Zscaler platform and joint solutions for strategic alliances that include cloud partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud marketplaces and is responsible to set the strategy and execution on how to accelerate the adoption of Zscaler's platform and products as purchased through cloud service provider marketplaces. They will be responsible for creating the marketplace marketing plan to exceed annual partner sales targets, and increase conversion and repeat visits. They will lead the planning and execution of demand generation programs, serve as a strategic voice co-branded and co-developed content and collateral as well as serve as a bridge to the other marketing and BD teams within Zscaler.
This role will own the messaging narrative and curation of Zscaler's product listings on the marketplaces, tracking and reporting of activity, leads, and sales on the marketplaces, as well as promotion through social media and marketing programs. This position will work closely with the Zscaler technology experts, product marketing, and the tech partner sales teams to maximize marketing activities that boost lead acquisition rates, increase conversion rates, and ultimately drive revenue for Zscaler. Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive co-marketing plan (six-month plans updated quarterly), identifying the partners' impact both nationally and globally
  • Build programs and processes to build, execute, and scale supported demand-creation activities both partner-led, and Zscaler-led
  • Support Zscaler's new product launches, services, and ongoing messaging/branding to establish value through the tech partner's own enablement events and marketing activities
  • Develop strong relationships with key partner managers & key stakeholders
  • Grow the number of quality leads and sales pipeline to specified targets through marketplaces specific campaigns
  • Execute and maintain consistent marketing processes for demand generation, assuring accurate capture and recording of key lead qualification data
  • Ensure balanced portfolio of sales opportunities and partner enablement activities for all products and service offerings
  • Provide consistent communication including dashboards and reports outlining quantifiable results, campaign ROI, program analyses and recommendations to area marketing and sales management teams
  • Participate in corporate-led initiatives as requested to assure tech partner requirements are captured in solution development (example: Zscaler-led corporate marketing campaigns and/or Zscaler product launches)
  • Oversee Co-op and marketing funding budgets though quarterly fund planning


Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of partner technology marketing and competitive landscape
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and globally to serve as virtual team lead
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to set up workflow systems and processes
  • 6+ years of overall industry experience; 4+ years of closely related experience. Experience with AWS and Microsoft ideal.
  • Strong writing and content skills
  • Excel Skills, as well as Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Experience with development/evaluation of marketing programs (joint efforts with marketing)
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree in a business, marketing, or technical field preferred
  • Remote position but easy access to a major airport for necessary travel required
