The Role:
We are seeking to hire a Strategy Associate in a highly visible role, where you’ll have the opportunity to define our strategy & approach behind incentives and promotions. You will evaluate the financial details behind promotions and incentives, influence various teams to support them and drive their follow-on execution In this role, you will interact with our senior leadership teams and really drive positive impact for the business. This is an emerging group within Cisco Meraki which provides visibility across a multitude of functions, ranging from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, to Product, Channel and Demand Planning among others. Based in our breathtaking San Francisco HQ, every single day as a Strategy Associate at Cisco Meraki is unlike the one before.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, drive and measure the return on investment of Promotions / Incentives pursued by Cisco Meraki
- Work cross-functionally across Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Product & Sales to execute Promotions & Incentives end-to-end
- Measure Promotion & Incentive results and document lessons learned
- Make recommendations to Cisco Meraki leadership around appropriate incentive levers to pull to drive specified business outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with top-level Cisco executives
You:
You have senior executive presence, positive relationship building skills, a strategic and analytical mindset and strong organizational ability to drive projects to completion. You can serve as a leader with vision for the organization, proactively providing recommendations and helping streamline the various tactical activities associated with launching promotions & incentives. You have appetite for collaboratively solving problems, passion for impact, and unparalleled desire to be part of a growing team that is helping guide the strategic direction of the business are the tools that you’ll need to be a Meraki Strategy Associate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in consulting, or equivalent experience and skills
- Strong communication & relationship-building skills
- Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and understanding of strategic frameworks & concepts
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously to structure & solve strategic problems
- A track record in leading sophisticated and cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Interest in and ability to understand networking and cloud technologies
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PPT
- Foundational understanding of financial concepts like gross margin & COGS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching promotions and incentives for other B2B companies
- MBA or Graduate Degree in Management
