You’ll join the Developer group here at Plaid as a Technical Writer and content strategist, and enable our developers to quickly ship reliable code, while minimizing cognitive overhead. This is a new role and we’re looking for someone who is experienced, empathetic, and collaborative to lead our documentation efforts.

We're guided by our principles, including impact, growing together, embracing openness and positivity, and inventing tomorrow; we're looking for people motivated by those same principles.

  • Write external and internal developer-facing documentation and guides for Plaid’s new products, features, and APIs
  • Establish writing standards and best practices for unifying and scaling our documentation
  • Create a long-term content strategy, organize documentation and make learning resources easily discoverable for developers
  • Enable others at Plaid to improve their writing through meticulous editing and proofreading

What excites you

  • Solving problems for developers, builders, and small to enterprise start-ups

  • Close collaboration with engineering and business teams on all aspects of product development
  • Establishing a unified and world-class presence across all our products and platforms

What excites us

  • Ability to write – capable of producing clear, concise, and instructive prose
  • Familiarity with modern web services, APIs and general developer tools such as git, bash, etc.
  • Thoughtful and friendly voice with impeccable grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills
  • You can understand Plaid’s product with a high degree of technical depth
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
