This position is through Upwork’s Talent Innovation Program (TIP). Our TIP team is a global group of professionals that augment Upwork’s business. Our TIP team members are located all over the world.

Your Responsibilities:
- Setting up Marketo programs to support prospecting campaigns including events, content syndication, online advertising, webinars, and direct mail
- Managing the Marketing Ops intake form which includes monitoring the completion status of requests and delivering within our SLA
- Creating, QAing, sending, A/B testing, analyzing, and reporting on the email performance tied to the programs you set up
- Formatting lists and uploading leads from various sources including events, content syndication, and data clean up projects
- Working with Sales Ops to troubleshoot any sync issues between Marketo/Salesforce
- Creating and editing internal alerts and reports for team members across departments
- Maintaining the data quality of our marketing automation databases
- Monitoring and addressing any replies to the marketing emails that you send
Must Haves (Required Skills):
- 1-4 years of email marketing or marketing operations experience at a SaaS company, B2B company selling to large enterprises, or staffing industry
- 1-4 years experience using Marketo, preferably as a power user or admin, in addition to using the built-in solution for Marketo Analytics
- 1-4 years experience using Salesforce  
- Strong analytical skills to spot trends, make recommendations, and implement A/B tests
- Natural ability to take a consultative approach with business owners, recommending changes to campaigns based on industry data, previous campaign data, or your own expertise
- Good copy-editing skills to point out typos and inconsistencies, and make copy recommendations
- Good organization and communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to work during typical Pacific Standard Time business hours
Nice to Haves (Not Required):
- Current Marketo certification
- Experience with Adbridge, Sigstr, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, or DOMO
- Experience managing demand generation campaigns and working with BDRs
- Experience improving business efficiency through automation
- A demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks and work on projects independently
