Egnyte is looking for a VP, Corporate Marketing to be the chief steward, communications strategist, and internal evangelist for its brand story. Reporting to the CMO, the VP will oversee the marketing teams responsible for corporate branding and messaging, AR/PR/influencer relations, social strategy and tone of voice, our corporate collateral and major events presence, awareness campaigns (e.g. brand advertising), and other reputation-building programs. The VP's goal will be to increase overall brand visibility (awareness), vitality, and relevance across diverse stakeholder groups, including internal teams, buyers and purchase influencers, platform customers and end-users, and prospective and current employees.
What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)

  • Build and manage cross-functional initiatives that promote Egnyte's value proposition, story, leaders, business initiatives and outcomes—across all external channels
  • Identify and maximize high-impact opportunities to raise awareness of Egnyte, including AR, PR, thought leadership opportunities, and promoting Egnyte over social media
  • Enable internal stakeholder groups on Egnyte’s brand messaging, positioning, and voice
  • Direct programs to improve our social media presence, reputation and recognition
  • Partner with the Demand Gen and Product Marketing teams to ensure that brand messaging is carried through all multi-channel marketing campaigns; set, measure, and report against goals

Your Qualifications 

  • “T-Shaped” expertise: in your background, you have gone deep in Corporate Communications, AR, IR, Thought Leadership, and/or Brand Management --and-- have proven you can also create and execute plans across these and other functions
  • Proven success executing brand and marketing programs in a fast-paced B2B environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Able to include occasional periods of travel as part of regular routine
