What You Will Do

  • Establish and lead the implementation of the marketing function for the Company
  • Own and run the strategic direction of Zumper’s marketing & brand initiatives across both our consumer and B2B customer base
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target customers
  • Plan and execute the launch of new product releases and lead cross-functional initiatives against that plan
  • Own and drive Zumper’s external communication and PR efforts
  • Create metrics to assess the performance and effectiveness of marketing programs as well as customer satisfaction
  • Develop a model of customer service that reflects our desire to be essential to our customers
  • Work with our Head of Growth and Head of Growth Product to deliver large-scale consumer and B2B projects and targets
  • Work with Product and Growth to measure and improve our NPS
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners/agencies
  • Report into the COO. The position will have regular interactions with the CEO/Founder and the board of directors.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 10+ years experience running a multi-channel consumer marketing organization as a VP of Marketing or CMO
  • Ideally, have growth stage experience, serving several million monthly uniques (if consumer) or a large market share (if B2B)
  • Are experienced in product marketing, brand marketing, content marketing, communications, PR strategy
  • Can develop and execute marketing campaigns which are measurable, scalable, and cost-effective
  • Can attract and retain a world-class marketing team
  • Can manage external agencies and deliver high impact projects at the quality level needed to excel in our market
  • Have a track-record of managing a large budget across various channels to deliver business goals
  • Deeply analytical
